Is the internet being sold out to be controlled by America’s enemies?
The Department of Commerce is set to “give away” American control over the
internet
to international authorities October 1st, officials have confirmed.
Most people probably don’t care about it and that may be the reason it will be so easily done by this administration. But, the internet or world wide web has become such an integral part of our generation for so many reasons.
To think that we are just “handing it over” to countries that don’t have the best interests of other countries in mind, seems like utter foolishness!
Assistant Secretary Lawrence Strickling confirmed the fact, barring what he called “any significant impediment.”
The move means the “Internet Assigned Numbers Authority,” will move from U.S. control to the
Internet
Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, a multi stakeholder body based in Los Angeles that includes countries such as China and Russia.
Critics of the move, such as Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz, have pointed out the agency could be used by totalitarian governments to shut down the Web around the globe, either in whole or in part.
This is a HUGE mistake, but it further exemplifies the fact of Barack Obama’s intention to move into the UN as the new president. Moving control to a NWO, one world government is and has always been the goal of the people who aided Obama into to the presidency.
“The proposal to give the internet away and end the almost 20-year process over a crucial part of the Internet’s governance, into the control of those foreign countries who want it, will significantly increase the power of foreign governments over the Internet.
The Domain Naming System, (DNS), is one of the Internet’s most important components.
Up to October 1st, the US has always had ultimate say over how the DNS is controlled, but not for much longer.
It will expand ICANN’s historical core mission by creating a gateway to content regulation, and embolden its leadership to act without any real accountability,” Cruz said in a letter sent to the Department of Commerce and also signed Sen. James Lankford of Oklahoma and Sen. Mike Lee of Utah.
The US will “completely give up its power” to ICANN. (The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers).
The terms of the change were agreed upon in 2014, but it wasn’t until now that the US said it was finally satisfied that Icann was ready to make the change. (Obama wanted to make sure he completed his NWO directive before he leaves office and before anyone can stop it!)
If any facilities are relocated to China, they could go into the same building as the agency responsible for censoring that country’s Internet.
“They’ve uncovered the fact that ICANN’s Beijing office is actually located within the same building as the Cyberspace Administration of China, which is the central agency within the Chinese government’s censorship regime.”
Some of the American companies involved in the transition process have already “shown a willingness to acquiesce” to Chinese demands to aid with censorship.
“Although it may not be illegal, it does raise serious concerns as to the increased influence that governments may now be able to exhert on what may happen to the internet as we know it.
Opponents of the transition have made the case that Congress has passed legislation to prohibit the federal government from using tax dollars to allow the transition, and that the feds are constitutionally prohibited from transferring federal property without approval from Congress. But, that probably doesn’t matter under this administration.
A coalition of a couple dozen advocacy groups including Americans for Tax Reform, the Competitive Enterprise Institute, and Heritage Action sent a letter to Congress making those points last week. Americans for Limited Government, joined the others in that letter and issued a separate statement calling for Congress to sue in the event the transfer moves forward.
While those issues could, in theory, lead to a legal challenge being filed in the days following the transfer, the administration has expressed a desire to finish it before the president leaves office, a position that Strickling reiterated.
Russia, China and Iran have a long history of targeting journalists in the West, especially those in major cities, as well as think tanks, academic institutions and other organizations related to government. The operations can yield intelligence or serve as leverage for penetrating more sophisticated systems belonging to government.
The fact that the incident was allegedly tied to the Russian government implies the involvement of groups respectively linked to the Russian military and the country’s Federal Security Service. The same organizations that reportedly hacked the Democratic National Committee and some affiliated organizations over the past several months.
No, this move to hurriedly deliver our control of the Internet’s “keys to the kingdom” to the NWO and those with agendas that will not necessarily be beneficial, may just be another of the most damning decisions that this president has made against this country for the goal of a one world government.
If you really take time to analyze all his decisions as president, you’ll see that this was just another piece in the puzzle of his “take America out” agenda and NWO plan!
The “coincidence” and timing of the “give away” BEFORE the 2016 election may not be accidental. Only time will tell at this point, but I hope the internet will not be controlled by America’s enemies.
